Wedding planners working on luxury weddings in Rome have a specific problem: finding reliable suppliers who blend into a high-end event without striking the wrong note. The photo booth is one of the most popular services for guests — but it's also one of the easiest to get wrong if it ends up in the wrong hands.

In this guide we share what we've learned from years of collaboration with Roman planners: what makes our photo booth suitable for a luxury wedding, how the service works, and how we coordinate with you during the event.

Our photo booth is handcrafted, in vintage wood

This is the first thing to know, and it's the reason wedding planners choose us. Our photo booth is hand-built in wood with a vintage finish — no plastic, no anonymous aluminium, no shiny mirror booths.

For a wedding in a historic villa, a castle or a design hotel, the supplier's aesthetic is not a minor detail. The photo booth shouldn't look like an industrial appliance dropped in a corner. Wood works anywhere — from the villas of international couples to contemporary hotels.

What international couples expect from a photo booth in Rome

Couples from the UK, the US and Northern Europe getting married in Rome expect three things that are not always on offer:

These are the three things we hear most often from planners running international weddings.

What's always included in our service

The partner price list we send you details the three packages, but some things are always included, regardless of which proposal you choose:

The host is not optional. A photo booth left unattended jams, runs out of paper, leaves guests confused about how to use it and becomes invisible within an hour. We always include it because it's what makes the difference between a photo booth that works and one that ends up forgotten in a corner.

The dual gallery: live during the event, final within 7 days

This is the feature wedding planners tell us they appreciate the most, right after the booth's look.

Live gallery in real time. Every print coming out of the photo booth carries a QR code linking straight to the online gallery. Guests download their photo on the spot, share it on WhatsApp and Stories. During the night, you can see in real time what the booth is producing — useful to gauge guest engagement and for your social updates.

Final gallery with edited photos. Within 7 days of the event we deliver a second dedicated gallery, with the photo booth images post-produced and optimised. It's ready for the planner's portfolio and for the couple.

Two different galleries, designed for two different moments: the live gallery moves photos around during and just after the night; the final gallery is the photographer-edited archive deliverable.

How we coordinate with the wedding planner

A working collaboration is made of three moments:

Pre-event briefing. A 20-30 minute call two weeks before. We decide together: where to position the booth, in which time slot to run it, which print template to use, any customisations.

On-site presence. The host runs the booth autonomously: setup 30-40 minutes before guests arrive, ongoing management, takedown. You don't have to think about it during the night.

After the event. Final gallery within 7 days. We send it to you directly, so you can pass it to the couple and use it for your social.

Pro Selfie is not the event photographer

Worth making clear: our photo booth captures the spontaneous moments of guests enjoying themselves at the booth. It doesn't replace wedding photography coverage.

For the full wedding photography service we work with Scatti D'Emozione — same team, two different brands. If the couple you're managing is also looking for a photographer, we can offer both services in a coordinated way.

Pro Selfie Partner Program

For wedding planners we have a dedicated price list, booking priority and a partner recognition agreed at activation.

If you'd like to see prices and conditions, discover the partner program.
